Indian trade Delegation - Last minute - 5 September

Dear members and friends,

Some last minute information, a small Indian business delegation will visit Stockholm for a Trade Road Show on Tuesday, 5 September 2023. Delegate list attached The event is being organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India in association with Embassy of India.

The event will provide an opportunity to interact with a range of Indian companies from diverse sectors along with senior officials from Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry.

The delegation aims to explore avenues for collaboration in trade opportunities across a diverse range of industries, including Processed Foods, Tea &Coffee, Pharmaceuticals,Leather Goods, Furniture and Apparels, Garments & Furnishing. The delegation also intends to explore opportunities for Contract Manufacturing in India.

India Sweden Trade and investment have grown rapidly in recent years. Trade in goods and services has increased from USD 3 billion (2016) to around USD 5.5 billion (2022). India is the 3rd largest trading partner for Sweden in Asia. The number of Swedish companies with business presence in India has increased from around 150 to around 250 in the last five years or so. The number of Indian companies with business presence has increased from around 50 to 75 over a similar period.

It is in this context that we feel that your organisation may have interest in the upcoming Road Show in Stockholm on 5 September 2023. The Road Show programme is enclosed for your kind information.

if you are able, do meet them at the Road Show planned on Tuesday, 05 September 2023 at Operaterrassen, Karl XII:s torg, 111 47 Stockholm from 1000 – 11.30 hrs. They will be there until 15.00 hrs, but the presentation starts at 10am.
