She has worked with the Swedish International Development Corporation Agency (Sida), Environment Office at the Embassy of Sweden in New Delhi, as well as a consultant with clients such as UNIDO, GIZ, and MIT Poverty Lab. Arati has a MSc in Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), London.
