20 Year Anniversary of Sweden-India Business Council

Sweden-India Business Council was founded in March 2003, after a high-level business delegation led by then Minister of Trade Leif Pagrotsky in 2002. Twenty years later, it is with great pleasure we invite you to join us in celebrating the 20 year anniversary of Sweden-India Business Council (SIBC). SIBC has been a leading enabler in the Sweden-India business corridor, holding over 700 events since 2005, including The CEO Forum between the two countries.

Join us on May 17th, 2023 to share in the stories created over these 20 years, with key partners who have been part of a business story that continues to grow. We are glad to have several distinguished speakers and guests joining us this day, such as Andreas Carlson, Minister of Infrastructure and Housing, Government of Sweden and Marcus Wallenberg, Chair SEB. We are also pleased to confirm both Indian and Swedish Ambassadors Tanmaya Lal and Jan Thesslef and our Senior Executive Advisors Zia Mody, Founding Partner of AZB Partners, Umakant Soni, General Partner ART Venture Fund, Anna-Karin-Jatko, President EKN, Leif Johansson, Chair, AstraZeneca, Magnus Schöldtz, Wallenberg Office, Anna Gissler, CEO Invest Stockholm, and many others who will share their insights on the importance of the India Sweden relationship.

The celebration is a physical event only and will be held at Sheraton in Stockholm between 12.30-19.30 hrs starting after lunch and ending with bubbly and cake. This will be an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow professionals, exchange ideas and share in the achievements of an action-packed 20 years as well as look forward to the coming decades.
