Fredrik's educational background is from the Stockholm School of Economics. After a few years as management consultant in the private sector he joined the Prime Minister's office within the Swedish Government Offices. He later took on positions as commercial counsellor at our Swedish embassies in the Philippines and in Poland. Fredrik was living and working in Delhi, India between 2010-2013 where he consulted Swedish companies on matters of sourcing and sales. Between 2013-2018 Fredrik was working in Sub-Saharan Africa on energy related issues with base in South Africa. He moved back to Sweden in 2018 and has since been engaged in bringing sustainable Swedish expertise, solutions, services, and products into global projects and supply chains. Fredrik is a pragmatic executor with a solid strategic and business perspective. He has a truly global perspective and can with ease manoeuvre in most contexts and settings. Not least after living more than a decade in developing economies, he has a strong commitment towards bringing transformative change for all.

Staffan Ahl has more than 20 years of experience from financing investments and projects in India and other emerging economies. Since 2009 Staffan has been responsible for Swedpartnership, a program that since 2009 has offered financial support to Swedish SMEs that establish their business on a market where Swedfund operates. Swedpartnership has provided financing to more than 250 Swedish SMEs and 40 of the projects have been implemented in India.

Staffan will share his experience and insights from Swedpartnership’s project portfolio and his perspective on the most important enablers for a successfully implemented project in India.

Jyothish Jacob is part of the sustainability and climate change vertical for Business Sweden in South Asia. He is the Project lead for Sweden’s leading and prestigious program for promoting green energy in South Asia - India Sweden Innovations Accelerator in collaboration with the Swedish Energy Agency. Jyothish has been helping innovative Swedish companies in formulation and implementation of market entry and growth strategies across renewable and cleantech sector. With an MBA from Great lakes Institute and degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Calicut, Jyothish is an experienced business consulting professional with >8 years overall experience in strategy and transformation consulting across leading companies in Sweden and India.

India Sweden Innovations Accelerator (ISIA)

India Sweden Innovations Accelerator (ISIA) has been recognized as the official program to promote green energy research and economic collaboration under India Sweden Joint Action Plan in 2018. Since 2013, the program has facilitated successful entry of over 50 Swedish green and innovative companies into India. Together, these companies have setup over 150 pilot/ commercial projects across different parts of India thereby introducing new technologies, shaping sectors and improving quality of life. ISIA companies have setup over 50 distribution partnerships and 7 local subsidiaries in India, leading to long term capacity development and contributing to Indian Government’s Make in India and Clean India Programs.
